Of course, it can feel very final, applying wallpaper in your children's room. You want to do it right the first time and preferably for a long time. For that reason, making a wallpaper choice is something you want to do carefully. And you also prefer to have a clear picture of the end result.

Still, it would be a shame if you were to choose a safe option because of doubt. Because wallpaper can be used so well to create that fun, cheerful and colorful accent in the nursery. Putting up wallpaper seems like a big job, but once you've tried it... It's actually not that bad 🙂 In this blog I'm going to show you how you can use cheerful wallpaper to create the basis for a really fun girl's room. With a little courage and a few hours of your time, you can create a great effect in the nursery!

Photoshoots for wallpaper brands are for me the moment to get started with surprising wallpaper combinations. For the photoshoot of the newest wallpaper collection of Studio Pieni we made combinations of different wallpaper prints. In this blog you see the dark colored striped wallpaper 'Roos' and the wallpaper with raspberries 'Olivia'. And what a surprisingly nice combination it became with the wooden toddler bed 'Lout' by Petit Puk and the lilac and pink accent colors!

The wallpaper 'Pim' with pear print and the block wallpaper 'Aron' also combined very nicely in a girl's room. By using the block wallpaper as wainscoting on a light pink wall, the second type of wallpaper has become more of an accent. In this room you can see the nice combination with the wooden Tipi bed from Petit Puk and the brown Pieni play table. Do you still want to work with a cheerful color accent? Then lilac also matches very nicely in this room!
