A children's room is a special place. It is the place where your child can grow up, dream, relax and discover. You would prefer to let your child do all this in a pleasant and familiar environment. Their own dream room! Creating such a personal room for your son or daughter is incredibly fun to do. But what if your plans don't quite work out?

You may already have plenty of ideas for the design of the nursery, but sometimes you can still get stuck. How do you translate all that inspiration into a concrete design? Which accessories match the color on the wall, and which type of wallpaper matches that?
You may recognize this:
- You already have a Pinterest board full of nursery inspiration, but how do you translate this into a personal and unique nursery design? Copy paste doesn't suit you: you want to design a room that really suits your son or daughter.
- All the inspiration makes you doubt a lot. You keep seeing something else that you also find very beautiful! How do you make choices that really suit you? And how do you get that certain feeling with the choices you make?
- You have a budget in mind and you want to spend it right the first time. Afraid of making the wrong choices and bad purchases, you keep postponing your purchases.
- You already have some ideas for paint colors, a nice wallpaper and a few nice accessories.. But will this form a whole together? How do you coordinate everything in the room nicely?
- Maybe you've even started decorating, but the room still hasn't turned out the way you had in mind. How can you make it a coherent whole with small adjustments?
Advice for your child's room
Marielle also had a number of these questions when she approached me for a Mini Advice. Her son Boaz was going to be a big brother and it was time to exchange his nursery for a real boys' toddler room. One thing was already certain: the choice had fallen on the Forest Animals wallpaper from Pimpelmees. In addition, Boaz's dad would make a nice house bed for him. But further..
