Soof's baby girl's room
Milou lives with her husband Barry, son Rein and daughter Soof in a new-build house in Naaldwijk. Milou and Barry's house was already familiar territory for me, because during Milou's first pregnancy with Rein I was allowed to help design his nursery. Also when their second child Soof arrived, I did a Mini Advice together with Milou to convert her plans into a beautiful girls' room design. It became a romantic, quiet and sweet room for little Soof, exactly as Milou had in mind.
Baby room floral wallpaper
Milou already had lots of ideas for Soof's baby girl's room, but she found it difficult to bring all those ideas together. “Elina had already helped decorate Rein's room and it turned out to be such a cool room! So during my second pregnancy I knew right away that I wanted to do this again! When you decorate a baby room, you have to think about quite a few things. I had lots of inspiration for the room, but translating it into a concrete interior was quite exciting. Especially the wallpaper. I really enjoyed wallpapering a wall to make it a bit more playful. But I was also afraid that a wallpaper print would quickly become too busy in the small room. Elina suggested this floral wallpaper and I thought that was quite an exciting choice: what if the flowers would demand too much attention in the room? But in the end it turned out to be not so bad, we are still very happy with it!”

Milou confidently went to work with the advice for the wallpaper, paint colors, layout and styling. Resulting in this beautiful sweet baby room with beige colors and floral wallpaper.
