A children's room can be a nice, safe and cozy place. After all, it is the room where your little one plays, rests and can be completely himself. But an extra plus is if the room also matches your own interior style in terms of design and use of color.
As a parent, you can have very different reasons to decorate a neutral children's room. For example, because you find peace in the children's room very important. Or because, as in this room that I styled for Cozy Cott , a boy and a girl are going to sleep together in the same room and you don't want to make any pronounced (colour) choices. In any case, a neutral children's room, where you choose very natural colours and materials, is a very nice choice. It is timeless, easy to adjust and wonderfully peaceful.
What I always find fun and surprising is how you can create a wonderfully warm atmosphere in a child's room with neutral colours and natural materials. The walls in this room have an off-white colour, combined with a warm earth tone. To keep it a bit fresher, we chose the white Cozy Cott , a bunk bed for the little ones.

Minimalist nursery decor
In this room you can see that the accessories match the neutral base in terms of shades. As a result, none of them demand a lot of attention, which creates peace in this children's room. All accessories provide an addition, but nothing screams for attention.
When decorating a children's room, you don't need a huge amount of accessories. This room proves that with the right choices, you can apply a minimalist styling, also in a room for children.
Hopefully this room will give you some nice inspiration for your own nursery decor. And would you like to think of a unique nursery decor for your daughter or son together with me? Feel free to send me a message or take a look at nursery advice for more information. I would be happy to help you!
