Boys room Jax

Cynthia had been living in a new-build house with her family for a few months when she sent me an email. She was already busy decorating and styling their new interior, but she got stuck on the design of her children's rooms. During a double Mini Advice, we started working together on a plan to style the rooms completely!

Boys room with blue wall

When you already have plenty of ideas for the design and styling of your children's room, you may still get stuck. During my children's room advice, I notice again and again how important it is to make a concrete plan. It helps enormously to make a mood board or product collage, which gives you an overview of the combination of all the colours, materials and products in the room.

Cynthia already had a few nice basic items to start with. First of all, she wanted to reuse the furniture and had already chosen a blue color on the wall (similar color Misty Blue from Day at the Zoo). This became the starting point of the Mini Advice and together we looked at how we could make one whole of all the ideas. No more doubts!

Mini Advice for your child's room

During the Mini Advice, I created a product mood board together with Cynthia, in which I could show her which accessories match nicely with the basis of the room. I could give her concrete styling tips for the wall decoration and how she could hang everything best. Together we looked at whether the layout of the room was optimal and with which accessories the bed could be styled. After an hour of advice, Cyntia could confidently continue styling Jax's boy's room. With this nice and cool boy's room as the end result!

Do you also find it difficult to really finish your children's room? Do you have plenty of ideas but are you unable to make them into one whole and actually implement them? With the Mini Advice I will help you where you get stuck.

Are you wondering how to style those empty walls? Or what color wallpaper is best to choose? Would you like me to look with you before you make that one big purchase? You can ask me all your questions during this 1 or 1.5 hour advice via video call. I'd love to think along with you!
